Close Protection License
The SIA recognises that it is essential for all close protection operatives to have undergone a structured programme of training and education resulting in a recognised qualification if they are to be effective and professional in their role.
In approving standards, the SIA has taken into consideration the existing National Occupational Standards that are currently under development for the close protection industry.
Knowledge and practical skills training must equate to 150 guided learning hours (GLH) The course must include 14 CP modules
I've previously mentioned and provided you with the modules and that there are two distinct courses that an operator can attend to gain his/her SIA licence.
Short 24 hr course for those with previous experience etc.
Novice 150 GLH - Akona cost effective CP course Part 1, E-Learning and Part 2, 14 days of practical and assessment training.
