The Level 2 BTEC Award in Customer Service is for learners who are involved in a broad range of work activities. Their job role will need to have some autonomy and responsibility and may require them to work as part of a team.

What does this qualification cover?

The Level 2 BTEC Award in Customer Service is designed to provide:

* a framework of education and training for those in the customer service industry with a responsibility to provide customer care and support

* opportunities for personnel in the customer service industry to achieve a nationally recognised level 2 vocationally specific qualification

* the knowledge, understanding and skills learners need to provide effective customer service

* opportunities for learners to focus on the development of the major key skills and the wider key skills in a customer service context, such as improving own performance, working with others and problem solving
