Level 3 BTEC Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, ‘PTLLs’ (QCF)

Anyone thinking of a career in teaching should consider studying the Level 3 BTEC Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). This teaching qualification, consisting of a number of units, is appropriate for different levels of teaching in all industries and educational institutions.

What does this qualification cover?

The Level 3 qualification is one unit, consisting of 30 hours of guided learning and, at least, 30 hours of self directed study and an observed practice of a 15 minute teaching session (microteaching).
